Who handles your information?
This is the professional portfolio of Ümit Karatay, based in Tallinn, Estonia. For privacy inquiries, contact: umitkaratay@gmail.com.
When you send an inquiry
Your name, email address, website, selected service and message are used to reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible project. They are not published or added to a marketing list.
Providers and retention
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. The inquiry form sends a message through Cloudflare to my Gmail inbox. These providers may process technical information to deliver and secure their services. Project correspondence is retained for as long as needed to manage the inquiry and any resulting client relationship.
Cookies and the planning tool
Google Analytics loads only if you allow analytics cookies. It measures page visits, traffic sources and interactions such as successful project inquiries; form names, email addresses, websites and messages are not sent to Analytics. Advertising personalization is disabled. Your preference is stored in your browser for 180 days and can be changed at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the site or contact form.
Analytics processing is based on your consent. Google may process cookie identifiers, device and visit information to provide the service, including outside the European Economic Area. Analytics cookies expire after at most 180 days. The SEO priority planner runs in your browser: with consent, only its completion is measured, not your answers or results. Security services may process necessary technical information.
Your requests
You can email me to request access to your correspondence, correct information or ask for deletion. Identity verification may be needed. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. The Estonian supervisory authority is Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.
The initial processing purpose is to take pre-contractual steps at your request. Necessary website-security processing is based on a legitimate interest in protecting the service.
