Give each important service a clear home
An illustrative architecture practice might need distinct pages for residential design, renovation planning and commercial work if the services, buyers and supporting information differ. Those are useful distinctions; dozens of pages with the same text and a changed town name are not.
| Page | Main job | Useful next step |
|---|---|---|
| Service | Explain the offer, fit, process and limits | Send project details |
| Relevant project | Show the role and work, with permission | Review the matching service |
| Practical guide | Answer a planning or selection question | Read the service when help is needed |
| Contact | Collect enough information to reply | Clear confirmation and response route |
Use keyword mapping to test these distinctions against actual results. The example is a planning model, not a claim about a client campaign.
Include local information because it helps the customer
For a genuinely local business, explain the service area, location and relevant visiting or delivery details accurately. If eligible, keep the Google Business Profile consistent with the business itself.
Do not imply an office or local team that does not exist. Google’s spam policies address doorway pages created to funnel similar searches to the same destination. A local page should have a real reason to exist and useful local information.
Answer the questions that hold back an inquiry
Readers may need to know who will do the work, which projects are suitable, what you need from them and how the first stage works. Pricing can be a range, a model or a clear explanation of what affects the fee; it does not have to be an invented fixed price.
Use real qualifications, permissioned project descriptions and reviews with a clear relationship. A recognizable logo without context can create the wrong impression. Say whether the work was through an agency, a past employer or a direct client.
Make the contact path easy to finish
Keep the initial form short. Ask for the information you actually need to reply, not a complete specification from someone who may not know the terminology.
Check the form on a phone, including validation, confirmation and email delivery. Count a successful submission separately from a click on the submit button. If calls are optional, offer a written route rather than forcing every visitor into a calendar.
Measure useful inquiries, not only total visits
Track relevant search queries and landing pages, then distinguish inquiries, qualified inquiries and actual business outcomes. A contact from outside your service area or a job applicant is not the same as a new customer opportunity.
