New content and better existing pages

SEO Content Strategy, Writing & Optimization

I research and write new pages, and update content that no longer answers what people are searching for. Search data and competitor research guide the work, from the first brief to the copy, internal links, and agreed WordPress updates.

01

Decide what to update and what to create

I compare Search Console queries, Analytics data, DataForSEO research, and competing pages. This helps identify what readers need and whether an existing page can meet that need. New pages are planned when they serve a distinct purpose, not just another keyword variation.

02

Rewrite pages that need more than a quick edit

I review the structure, sources, examples, and questions a page answers. A refresh may involve rewriting sections, removing repetition, updating outdated information, or changing the order so readers can find the answer sooner. Useful existing material stays.

03

Write new pages with a clear brief

The brief covers the intended reader, search intent, important questions, sources, and useful internal links. I can write the page myself with AI-assisted drafting and personal review, or prepare the brief and review a draft from your writer.

04

Use AI without skipping editorial work

I set site-specific rules and use AI for research support, drafting, and repeatable tasks. I check the claims, sources, and finished content myself. In WordPress workflows, drafts can be prepared for approval before publication rather than automatically pushed live.

05

Publish, connect, and review

I update titles, descriptions, headings, and contextual links alongside the copy. After publication, I check the page and follow relevant search and traffic data. This keeps content maintenance tied to what readers actually use.

Working together

You know who is doing the work.

You work directly with me. We agree what matters, document the plan and keep track of what changes.

  1. 01

    Understand the website

I review what you sell, who your customers are, and what you want to improve. Your pages and existing search data help me see where to start.

  2. 02

    Research the opportunities

I compare your content and technical setup with the search results. I look for missing information, underperforming pages, and problems that make the site harder to use or find.

  3. 03

    Make the changes

We agree on the work and fee before starting. I update content and WordPress pages, or work with your team on changes that need a developer.

  4. 04

    Check and report

I check the published changes and report on relevant search performance, traffic, and customer inquiries where tracking is available. That helps us choose the next priorities.

01Search intent and editorial priorities
For a content refresh on Zovovo, I used Search Console queries to align page titles, headings and opening sections with the information readers were looking for. I reviewed source material and identified repeated sections that made the pages harder to use.
02Content and internal linking
I rewrote priority sections, consolidated repetitive blocks and added contextual links from related articles. I also reviewed structured data against the visible content and removed markup that did not fit the page.
03A controlled publishing process
I refined the publishing checks to preserve useful existing media, detect duplicate sections and flag missing page elements. I checked the live output and mobile presentation. This August work example is separate from the earlier performance periods shown in the project report.

FAQ

A few useful answers

Should I update old content or write new pages?

I check whether an existing page already serves the search need. If it does, improving it often makes more sense. A separate page is useful when the topic, audience, or purpose is genuinely different.

Do you write the content or just provide a plan?

Both are possible. I can research, write, and update pages, or give your writer a brief and review their draft. We decide based on your team and needs.

Can you improve service and category pages too?

Yes. The work isn’t limited to blog posts. Service, category, comparison, and product content each need a structure that fits how visitors use the page.

Will you publish AI content automatically?

No. My workflows can prepare drafts, but content is reviewed before publication. Sensitive or specialist claims may also need review by a qualified person on your team.

How much content can you deliver?

That depends on research depth, page length, source material, and the review process. I agree on a realistic workload rather than promise the same article count for every project.
