Improve your existing WordPress website

WordPress SEO Services

I help improve the WordPress site you already have: its pages, internal links, settings, and technical SEO. You can start with an audit or have me research and make the changes, without assuming the site needs a redesign.

01

Review existing pages

I use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and a site crawl to find pages that need work. I compare search queries with the content people land on, looking for missing answers, overlapping articles, and useful pages that are hard to reach.

02

Sort out categories and tags

Category, tag, author, and date archives do different jobs. I check which ones help visitors and which repeat content without adding much. Depending on the findings, I may improve an archive, combine overlapping pages, or recommend keeping it out of search results.

03

Update content and internal links

I can rewrite page copy, improve titles and headings, and add useful links between related pages. New content is planned around what readers need, not a plugin’s score. Drafts are reviewed before publication.

04

Check settings and implementation

I review SEO plugin settings, sitemaps, canonicals, and redirects for conflicts. Routine WordPress changes can be handled directly. Custom theme development or complex plugin problems go to your developer, with instructions and follow-up checks.

05

Follow the changes

I keep a record of updated URLs and check the published pages. Where access is available, I follow indexing and search performance to decide which improvements to work on next.

Working together

You know who is doing the work.

You work directly with me. We agree what matters, document the plan and keep track of what changes.

  1. 01

    Understand the website

I review what you sell, who your customers are, and what you want to improve. Your pages and existing search data help me see where to start.

  2. 02

    Research the opportunities

I compare your content and technical setup with the search results. I look for missing information, underperforming pages, and problems that make the site harder to use or find.

  3. 03

    Make the changes

We agree on the work and fee before starting. I update content and WordPress pages, or work with your team on changes that need a developer.

  4. 04

    Check and report

I check the published changes and report on relevant search performance, traffic, and customer inquiries where tracking is available. That helps us choose the next priorities.

Supplement Explained · owned publishing project · July–August 2026

01The problem
Definitions, practical guides and product content can cover the same topic without helping readers take different next steps. On my own site, I reviewed these overlaps before deciding what to change.
02What I changed
I separated explanatory pages from verification guides, and brand guides from individual product analyses. I rewrote openings, titles and descriptions, adjusted internal routes and kept useful existing URLs rather than applying blanket redirects.
03What I checked
I checked live status codes, canonical URLs, headings, structured data and internal links. The project page shows dated site-level results; those figures do not isolate the effect of this particular update.

FAQ

A few useful answers

Do I need a new website?

Not necessarily. I start with the existing site. Many content, linking, and configuration problems can be fixed without rebuilding it. I’ll explain if a theme or platform limitation needs development work.

Which WordPress SEO plugin is best?

I first check your current setup. A well-configured plugin may already cover what you need. Adding another tool or chasing a green score won’t fix weak content, duplicate pages, or poor internal linking.

Can you write and publish the content?

Yes. I can research, write, and update pages, then publish approved changes in WordPress. We agree on the pages and review process before starting.

What does WordPress SEO cost?

The fee depends on the site and whether you need an audit, implementation, or regular support. I’ll propose the work and fee after reviewing your project.

Is WooCommerce included?

Store catalogs need additional product, category, and filter checks. I cover those through my e-commerce SEO service, rather than treating a store like a standard blog.
